I’m a full-time practitioner and freelancer, holding a BFA degree in Fine Arts from the University of Auckland (Elam) and a Diploma in 3D Animation from Media Design School. While I’m dedicated to my craft, I find myself continuously learning and exploring the realms of 3D and Fashion design.

In my artistic journey, I’ve been fortunate to dabble in various fields while maintaining a commitment to Fine Arts. This allows me the freedom to collaborate with other artists and explore diverse opportunities. My work often revolves around the exploration of idealised beauty, creating virtual identities and spaces.

I am a digital artist who delves into the manipulation of self-portraits, seeking to understand the concept of idealized beauty. My work images offer a small glimpse into my portfolio, each piece characterized by a blend of surreal facts and fantasy elements.

In the context of the ever-growing influence of photo editing software, I’m grateful for the opportunities it presents to contemporary artists like myself to experience new and challenging mediums allowing us to approach diverse expressions. It’s a platform that encourages the exploration of identity through art in a tech-savvy manner, aligning with the evolving trends in the industry.

One of my notable pieces, “Desirable Place 2006,” reflects my attempt to portray an artificialised creature, a robotic or doll-like figure suspended in time and space. These images are a reflection of my freedom of imagination and fantasies, driven by a genuine fascination with the visual aspects of idealised beauty and standards, expressed rather in a twisted manner mixed with natural colours, patterns, textures, and lines that are placed in the images with a pinch of artificial aspect that can raise a question about the stereotypes and programmed imageries and thoughts.

As I navigate the ever-changing landscape of the art world, I aim to contribute in my own way. Whether it’s through paintings, graphic images, photo manipulation, or even delving into 3D and Fashion design, my goal is to redefine the idealised beauty and challenge preconceived notions, all while staying true to the essence of my understanding and environmental aspects of current alignment as the base for my artistic journey.
